​Bowfishing is done by simply lurking from a specialized boat, in shallow waters. Once you see a legal fish to shoot, you'll pull back your bow and, shoot! Although, it may sound simple, it can be a fun challenge to achieve. And once you hit your first fish, you'll have a hard time quitting!
Where?
​Southeast, MI - Saginaw Bay, Lake St. Claire, Lake Erie, and many inland lakes.
When?
​Bowfishing trips are available for booking from the time the ice melts, until the ice becomes solid again. Night trips will go from dusk and run 4 hours into the night.

Who?
All are welcome! No age required. Though each group must have at least an adult aged 18 and over. Trips can be up to 6 people.

What?
Legal species to shoot are - Carp, Dogfish, Gar, Catfish, and Goldfish

Why?
Bowfishing is meant to manage the population of the less desirable fish. These fish are often not kept nor eaten. However, if you're interested in keeping your fish, you are more than welcome to (please bring a cooler). Otherwise, your captain will take care of them.

What is needed?

Depending on the time of year and weather, the nights may be cold, windy, wet, and/or buggy. Please bring/wear appropriate attire and shoes that you're willing to get dirty. In addition, you may want to bring a change of clothes.

What is provided?
All equipment needed to bowfish, a captain, deckhand, and a specialized boat, as well as drinking water and sports drinks. You are welcome to bring your own cooler.
